Interview Answers

Do you ever feel that you have been conditioned by Krishnamurti's teachings?

When I read a lot or watched videos quite often, it felt quite difficult to look for oneself and enquire. Consequently, I read less & watched less and find it essential to be there in daily life, fully attend, feel and listen to the words that come out. Still I come back to the words of K to drink at the fountain...

How important do you consider group dialogue to be in understanding the more subtle points of Krishnamurti's message?

Group dialogue is so powerful, when the energy of the ones involved in inquiry gathers. To listen to one another requires an open mind, which is part of the living of the teachings... However real inquiry rarely happens on a verbal level.

If you had to sum up what Krishnamurti is all about in just a few words of your own, what would they be?

live highly sensitive with facts without any bias. look deep into things and when/where there is an insight, an understanding, there is an action. truth is a living thing, the quest for truth an ongoing investigation. don't speak lightly about the sacred...

What future do you foresee for Krishnamurti's works? Do you think they will grow in importance or will they just gradually die away?

I wonder. K's name may be forgotten, though what he spoke of is essential, and the questions he raised will be ours for many more centuries.

Can dialogue - in the sense of sincere inquiry - be organized or can it only come about spontaneously, unprompted?

some conditions seem to be important, though it cannot be constructed in any way. coming upon something esential, truth changes the whole atmosphere...
