About This Event
The sacred is commonly associated with God, organised religion, rituals and rites that human beings have been performing for centuries. Krishnamurti challenges this view stating, ‘All religions are invented by thought. What is invented may be called sacred, but it is not sacred. Thought is not sacred; thought is a material process, the accumulation of knowledge and memory.’ During this retreat, participants will have the opportunity to investigate and unveil the possible meaning of the sacred.
