Member Statement

"everyone in this life has certain special circumstances which force her, urge her to mould herself to a particular pattern. The genius is a person who frees herself from those circumstancs, who grows beyond them. As I wanted to be free, I had to watch all the time what circles were being drawn around me. It is very easy to follow, to be loyal to someone else, but it is much more difficult to be loyal to oneself". Krishnamurti

I don't think it's easy in this day and age.

Are there any aspects of Krishnamurti's teaching that you find implausible or difficult to accept?

Perhaps there are some. His teachings are repetitious, he had much information but failed to reveal it. So you see so many struggling with his words.

If you had to sum up what Krishnamurti is all about in just a few words of your own, what would they be?

I didn't know him except by his words so it would be unjust to conclude.

Do you think Krishnamurti was exceptional, or is the transformation he spoke of universally accessible?

He was speaking on a level of my understanding, what a normal, ordinary human can comprehend. However, his teachings were repetitious.
