Do you think Krishnamurti was exceptional, or is the transformation he spoke of universally accessible?

As far as my understanding goes, the transformation K talked about, is universally accessible. I have seen glimpses of it for myself and for others.

Mostly by reading, sometimes by seeing a video in a group and once a year I attend the Murren gathering for a week.

Does the phrase "living the teachings" have any meaning to you?

I am aware of what K has said, in my daily life. Nevertheless, the expression 'living the teachings' could sound like an ethical rule, and that's not what he meant.

Do you think it advisable to introduce Krishnamurti to people you know? Have you ever done it and if yes, what are your experiences?

I do not introduce people to K. Sometimes, when I cannot avoid it, I mention that I am inspired by him. Usually I say that I have not found anybody else, who talked about the meaning of life so clearly as K did.

What future do you foresee for Krishnamurti's works? Do you think they will grow in importance or will they just gradually die away?

No idea. And not very important. There might come a time, when these teachings are not necessary anymore.

Has coming into contact with Krishnamurti and his teachings had any perceptible effect on your life and/or relationships?

Oh yes. I am more aware of the beauty of nature. I could leave behind my Christian background. More and more I am aware of my conditioning and sometimes I feel free of it.

How do you strike a balance between healthy doubt and ready acceptance in investigating Krishnamurti's proposals?

During my 30 years of being involved in K's teachings, it has become more and more clear, that whatever K says, is not really important as long as it is an intellectual understanding. Hearing and reading K does something with my brain, but the radical transformation, where he is talking about, is something quite different.

Group dialogues can reveal hidden things in myself, but nmostly it is a very strenuous process.
