I've been reading a lot in the past and also watched videos and listened to audio tapes, that is necessary I think. I also partecipated to meetings and forum.
Nowadays I like to focus more on what I'm doing and thinking from moment to moment. K. teachings have no sense unless you realate them with your life.
I'm rather sceptical about dialogues concerning K. teachings.
Unless there is a spontaneous and sincere relationship of friendship and one feels a real necessity for enquiring, very often these dialogues lead to more confusion.
I've often felt an artificial atmosphere both in dialogues on line and live dialogues.
Yes, a huge and unbalancing effect.
For "unbalancing" I mean that it upset all my prievious values and ways of looking at life and society.
Therefore I welcome this unbalancing effect.
That is - ofcourse - only a partial aspect of the whole story. But you cannot expect to say more here, can you?

View all answers to this questionThis question is too general and so it cannot be adressed as such. The people I know range from the postman to my relatives and close friends. With most of them I can only speach about the weather or similar topics... (:-)
To talk about K., as about any other serious topic, may come spontaneoulsy when there is a precise request from the person interested.
None can foresee objectively what will happen in the future, but seeing the actual trend of our society, the orientation of the universal consciousness and what the people who have these teachings in custody are doing I am rather pessimistic.

View all answers to this questionThis is a very dangerous question which was raised a lot of times when K. was alive. It's not what we think that has importance or meaning but to decide whether you are satisfied with your life and with human consciousness. Do we have choice?
This - I think - is a lazy question similar to that which is well known in Zen: "Can dogs reach enlightment"?
Why one should ask such a question? This is just playing with ideas. The answer the Zen master gave was: "What matters is wether you will reach enlightment..."
If K. was exceptional than we have no possibility as "common" human beings. How comfortable is this excuse!
View all answers to this questionAt one level - if we can use this word - it has meaning. One needs to keep in mind K.'s challenges and see if they can be faced in every day life. But at another level I think one is bound to forget K. and focus on the many challenges which one always meet in life. We may forget K. altogether but we cannot forget life: it spares no one.
