2012 Memorial Day Dialogues
We invite you to our annual Krishnamurti Gathering and Dialogues where we meet as a community in both large and small groups to inquire into the major themes of Krishnamurti’s teachings and their relevance to our daily lives.
The weekend begins Friday evening with a buffet and an orientation which includes discussion of the dialogue process. In addition to daily dialogues and video showings of Krishnamurti’s talks, there is opportunity for solitude, to meet informally and to enjoy the lovely rural setting.
The Bishop Claggett Center is a 277 acre retreat center in Frederick County, Maryland, an hour’s drive from the Baltimore and Washington metropolitan areas.
If I may suggest it, watch your own minds; do not merely listen to my words, but through my words observe the operation of your own thinking and discover yourself. I am describing the picture, but it is your picture, not mine. If you really watch yourself as you listen, you will find a radical change taking place in spite of your conscious mind. It is like a seed that, being sown in fertile soil, pushes through the earth and puts out a blossom.
