Krishnamurti & the Art of Awakening

Krishnamurti Quote of the Day

Varanasi, India | 2nd Public Talk, 1962

There are only two ways to ask a question: one through reaction, and the other which is no reaction. If we ask questions out of reaction, we will invariably find superficial answers. To ask questions which are not out of reaction is very difficult, because perhaps there is no answer. It may be only that there is a questioning without an answer; and that, it seems to me, is far more significant than to put a question which has an answer.
