Today in "Nature", (the scientific journal) is published about how two monkeys were born to three parents with two mothers contributing with a father, the DNA inheritance. By this means of manipulating the mitchondrial DNA, one can presume in future there are possiblities to eliminate/eradicate mitochondrial diseases in humans too.
Grave risks in playing with the new technique among humans, we cannot foresee what would happen in the future.Progress in Science is alarming and where are those who talk about ethics here on the Earth? How do you react?
Thank God Hitler is not available today....dead&gone... I thought....

Yes Mike Christani... that is it, the big gap or mismatch of the MIND. On the one hand human mind(here collective humanmind&consciousness) is making tremendous progress medically, technologically and scientifically and at the sametime, povery, cruelty, isolation, loneliness, viruses.vulgarity and ugliness is spreading along with unmitigated viloence. In every nation there ought to be an ethics committe or Board to supervise the work of these ambitious scientists whose superb faculty in one area does not match or in touch with other areas, of concern to common man(you&me) Incidentally there was a news here in Denmark that persons are not becoming donor-of the organ -card-holders so that endless transplantation can go on-One has to die so the other can live- we play GODS...the surgeons excel in their monkey-techniques.Sancitity and integrity of the "individual"/meaning the undivided, is not respected any more...the name of the game is"becoming at all costs"-
My lamenting here or your comments here are not going to stop this game......

Russia is honouring the man who invented Kalanishkov rifle on his 90th birth day.. a great honour for a great Russian if you are a Russian. But the misery this invention still spreads and the millions that have been killed with this instrument of terror, one can only call it monkey-business. That is what humans strive to excel in.. what a pity....
