No. The scandinavians have a tendency for snobberi. That is they are great pretenders of "do-good-samaritans".In actuality, they in their hearts and souls are as violent as anyone else. Superificial culuture and superficial civilization. Basically hypocritical christianity is at the root of it.Washing all their racist-sins on a blackman by bestowing him the Nobel Peace prize. And that so called blackman is in fact a COCONUT-MAN-meaning black or brown outside but inside as racist as anybody white man could be. As violent as you and ME!We have become slaves of mere symbols! That is all

President Obama came to Copenhagen for the climate summit which ended in a fiasco in many ways. He said he came to act and not to talk... Venezeula,China,Brazil & Sudan seem to have put a blockade...still he hopes for the best in future at Mexico conference next year.. All is not glory for Obama in this world. Even at home his ratings are going down...

Danish journalists have made a count on the word "war" used by Obama in his famous Nobel lecture and its frequency of occurrence was 46. So much for world Peace and Noble/NOBEL aims....

Topic: The US President, OBAMA & his.. Fri, 11 Dec 2009

Now in Norway he has received the much coveted Nobel Peace Price for 2009. He delivered a lecture on the necessity of war to keep peace. He sounds like Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita urging Arjuna to kill in the war for DHARMA/JUSTICE! One must agree he is confronting head on the problems of war&peace and at the sametime averting the criticism that he does not deserve the Nobel Prize at all. Only the passage of Time will have its tales to tell in the future....

Now a lot of hullabullo going on in Copenhagen Climate summit. But nobody except the alternative group delegates are interested in making vegetarianism as the top priority for this summit that could save the world. I have seen groups advocating it here in Copenhagen. but their voices are not heard,,,,, what a pity...

Topic: Young boy kills to please his fiancee`` Fri, 04 Dec 2009

There we go again... this time in Scotland. An young man 18yrs has locked his fiancee in a room bolted with doors and set fire to kill her just because she was threatening to leave him in the lurch in preference to another lover . The girl is dead... this endless mindless tragedey repeats again...and again. Is it fury of LOVE LOST? Is it EMPTINESS IN THE HEAD?

Topic: The US President, OBAMA & his.. Wed, 02 Dec 2009

Now he is in true style this OBAMA guy! Yes if one is a president of the migtiest USA you have no option but to sernd more troops to kill and to be killed... the same sad story all over... If one is aware that some people want to be in the medieval period with bullock carts or rather donkey-carts, clitoredectomy, burkha for women, four wives for each man, poppy cultivation for opium and jihad and murder against the non-believers ..... and there are nearly 2 billions of them going around the blackstone of MECCA.... the root cause is WAHABISM, fanatical sunni sect of Islam pervading from Saudi arabia to all over the world span ning its claws of terror, one should look at the root cause and eliminate it not send few hundred or thousands to slaughter-fields--- time will teach this new guy OBAMA.......

The Belgian "Coma man" Ron is flashed in all TV channels these days. Science can never be perfect. There were many other coma recovered histories are also being telecast now.

Topic: Krishnamurti mentyioned K have no centre Tue, 24 Nov 2009

Dear Madhav Mool, The question of "centre" is the question of "self".For a realized person like J.Krishnamurti, or Sri Ramana Maharshi, or Nisargadatta or Ramkrishna Paramahamsa, there was no cente, no self, as I understand from your question. To arrive at that the refeerent "I"/myself should END/DIE. Is it possible for you or "me" is the QUESTION.

Topic: Science&its limitations Mon, 23 Nov 2009

Science has limitations.todays news: A Belgian lying in coma for 23 years according to specialists who tested him and treated him over all these years. But in fact he "woke" up to complain that he was not in coma, he was aware of what was going on around him all the time.the doctors and their Glascow test for Coma Patients have failed him.he regrets he could not read newspapers, work on the computer all these years and now he is joyed that he is allowed after all these hyears "of mistreatment" b y scientific specialists.

Sorry Mr Madhav Mool, I can never understand your questions in this forum, is it your expressions in English or is it something mysterious you are expressing here, I do not know. Quoting bits of Krishnamurti does not help understand your questions.Perhaps we should have a Nepalesae language forum here......You sound very sincere, but I cannot catch you at all... I am sorry.

President Obama bows to the Emperor of Japan! Unheard of other American Presidents doing the same. Paying obesiance as a subject of Japan is Ok but as the President of USA, why Obama does it? Is he trying to fool others by pleasing them or is he having identity problems? Remember Pearl Harbour..... As a JK reader, it is OK with me... but as an ordinary US citizen, how one would react? I wonder...

President Obama is trying to please the totalitarian Chinese regime. The chinese are oppressing the legitimate human rights of Tibeteans and countless others inside CHinese imperium. Topic: Is vegetarianism a must for saving the world and ourselves? Sun, 15 Nov 2009

No not at all Dear Paul! I follow your thread... all are interrelated. So even if you catch them as young(as JK attempted by establishing Schools)the outer environs are not going to be conducive to live with integrity&sensitivity. That is the plight of all of us!.. I have tried all my life... been evaluated as being" anti-authoritarian, not pragmatic, rolling stone gather no moss(meaning no money or riches that I have gathered hitherto)" One tends to laugh with resignation at this world, that keeps one going....one cannot change the world and one cannot change oneself. Abiding Nature prevails as always.

Yes greed in many forms not only in food consumption with the consequence of obesity but also greed to have more and more of everything. In a poor country like India, producing more children than necessary and thereby creating slums and unhygienic conditions... it is not ignorance alone but arrogant greed&consumerism Time is ripe for concerted action.

The population of the world was just around 900 millions during Napoleans period in Europe.Today, it is nearly 7 billion ! If everyone on this Earth would consume the energy and resources as Americans do today, we may need 5 more Earths to supply us all with resources&energy! Is it not time to think over the population Exploison? Is it not high time we all become vegetarians as well as consume less energy & resources?....

That is what humans strive to excel in.. what a pity....

Topic: Can we consider Krishnamurti as continuity of Budha Mon, 09 Nov 2009

Yes Galaxy Eh. is correct in saying the above. But the beauty is JK was never taught regular Vedanta texts in his childhood or youth. He was born with it like other famous saints & savants of India. Why should one compare or identify him with this or that, may be we feel secure or reassured... I do not know. anyway he is no different from Adi Sankara,SRI RAMANAMAHARSHI, NISARGADATTA et al.Only thing was his context was quite modern and he lived up to it-Born in bullock-Cart-India to the modern jetset USA/INDIA,Computers, Psychiatrists-anything he could understand and did go beyond the "things"--He was a remarkable man indeed.
