Yes amazing in a very disgusting sort of way. These people were completely brainwashed. It reminded me a lot of the Jim Jones Cult. But then let's not overlook the Christian Fundamentalists in the US who have raised a pathological liar, sexual deviate and criminal to the highest office in the country. This is a threat to the entire world.

We have seen what happens when masses of people heedlessly follow a charismatic leader. They become a mob. On the world political stage it happen with Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini and others and now Donald Trump.

The pattern seems the same. First people are told what they want, what they need to have a better life and then they are promised to be given that life if they will just blindly follow someone.

Read today's quote. We are looking for someone to solve our problems, save us from a rapidly deteriorating world. I think it's safe to say that the people on this forum all know that only we can change ourselves and the world in which we live.
